One Outcome: You Can Handle a Real Customer Service Job.
Companies are hiring remote customer support agents every week - for chat, email, and phone support, for local and international clients. The people getting those roles aren't necessarily the most qualified on paper. They're the ones who can walk into an interview and actually show they know how to handle a customer. That's what this course builds, in five focused classes, not a semester of theory.
Who This Is For
You don't need previous customer service experience - most people starting this course have none. This is for anyone who wants a real shot at a remote customer support role: recent graduates, NYSC members, job seekers tired of applying to roles they can't back up, and anyone who's good with people but has never had to prove it on paper.
What You'll Be Able to Do When You're Done
Handle a customer complaint professionally, in writing and by phone
De-escalate an angry or frustrated customer without losing composure
Write clear, professional customer emails
Document a customer interaction the way a real support team requires
Know when and how to escalate an issue correctly
Speak knowledgeably about CRM and ticketing systems in an interview, because you've used one
The 5 Classes
Class 1 - Understanding Customer Service
What customer service actually involves, the difference between support and success, customer expectations, and what professionalism looks like in a remote role. Practical: work through real customer scenarios and decide how you'd handle each one.
Class 2 - Communication & Customer Handling
Active listening, tone, empathy, and the exact language that calms a frustrated customer instead of escalating them. Practical: respond live to simulated confused, angry, and repetitive customers.
Class 3 - Complaints, Conflict & Problem-Solving
How to diagnose a problem, resolve it, and know when to escalate instead of guessing. Practical: a live role-play — you're the agent, we're the angry customer.
Class 4 - Remote Support Operations
Ticketing systems, CRM basics, documentation, and the metrics every support team is measured on — first response time, resolution time, customer satisfaction. Practical: complete a simulated support workflow start to finish.
Class 5 - Capstone & Certification Assessment
You'll be handed realistic support scenarios and assessed on how you respond, resolve, and document them. This becomes your Customer Service Portfolio Project — real evidence you can show an employer, not just a certificate that says you attended.
